New Flash: "Chafing"

New Flash: "Chafing"

If ever there was a literary journal true to its name, it would be Dark Horses: The Magazine of Weird Fiction, as evidenced by a flash fiction from yours truly in Issue 42, released in July.

For me, the thrill of opening a journal that unabashedly markets itself as "weird" lies in the unpredictability from one story to the next. Genre (difficult to assign for many of the stories) ranges widely, while the content and the imaginative forces driving it span infinitely.

While I love to pass along a good link that can lead you directly to the publication, free of charge, I must admit to a greater sense of satisfaction with this printed journal in hand. One you can hold for yourself if you crave something weird to read. Just remember, you were warned: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FDGKHPF2
